About Brooklands Hotel
As well as 131 bedrooms and suites, Brooklands Hotel also features extensive meetings and events facilities, with nine meeting rooms in a separate wing on the ground floor of the hotel.
The Problem
Brooklands Hotel have a requirement to provide cellular coverage to the hotel and workspace areas for their clients. The presence of nearby cellular towers, as well as electronic devices within the hotel, posed a risk of signal interference. The installation had to ensure there was no disruption to the guests.
The Solution
Based on the site survey findings, CEl-FI QUATRA 4000e Network Units (NUs) and Coverage Units (CUs) were carefully positioned throughout the hotel. NUs were installed near a reliable cellular signal source, while CUs were strategically placed to distribute the enhanced signals to different areas, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
CEl-FI QUATRA 4000e is a multi-network solution capable of boosting all four major UK networks simultaneously. Utilising CAT 5e cabling for RF and power over ethernet, CEl-FI QUATRA 4000e systems can be scaled to improve mobile coverage in buildings of up to 200,000 ft2 / 19,000 m2 in size.
The Results
CEl-FI QUATRA 4000e significantly improved cellular signal strength and coverage throughout the hotel. This resulted in improved call quality, faster data speeds and a more reliable cellular connection for guests and staff, enhancing their overall experience.
The seamless integration of the system into the hotel's design and the scalability of CEl-FI QUATRA 4000e made it an ideal solution for enhancing cellular connectivity, while maintaining the hotel's aesthetic appeal.
