QUATRA 4000e is not sold as a fixed online bundle because the correct configuration depends on the mobile networks required, donor signal available at the site, building layout, cable routes, target coverage areas and the number and position of Network Units and Coverage Units required.

CEL-FI QUATRA 4000e can provide indoor coverage for EE, O2, Three and Vodafone within one professionally designed system. Customers using compatible mobile providers hosted on those networks can also benefit from the improved host-network coverage.

 

Each required operator signal is processed independently so the system can optimise the available signal for each network rather than simply repeating all radio signals at the same level.

 

If the requirement is limited to one or two mobile networks, QUATRA EVO may be the more appropriate large-building solution. For smaller commercial sites, G41 or G43 may provide a simpler solution depending on the networks and coverage required.

Remote Monitoring & Management

QUATRA 4000e connects to the Nextivity WAVE Platform for remote monitoring and management. This provides authorised support teams with visibility of system status, configuration and performance after installation.

Where QUATRA 4000e Fits

QUATRA 4000e is designed for larger or more complex commercial environments where reliable cellular coverage is required across several networks and throughout multiple areas of a building. Typical projects include hospitals and healthcare facilities, hotels, offices, warehouses and distribution centres, retail sites, public buildings, multi-storey properties, car parks and other enterprise environments.

 

The system uses an all-digital Active DAS architecture with category cabling carrying RF and power between the Network Unit and distributed Coverage Units. A Network Unit can support up to six Coverage Units, with fiber expansion available where the project requires additional coverage points, longer distances or separate buildings.

 

Coverage is designed around the individual building rather than sold against a fixed square-metre allowance. Donor signal, construction materials, floor layout, network requirements and target coverage areas are assessed as part of the system design.

CEL-FI QUATRA 4000e is a distributed antenna system (DAS) hybrid solution that combines the strength of passive and active DAS technologies to deliver high-quality mobile signal in buildings of up to 200,000 ft2 / 19,000 m2 in size. CEL-FI QUATRA 4000e delivers a mobile signal that is up to 1000x stronger than analogue, utilising CAT 5e cabling for RF and power over ethernet, with no signal attenuation right to the perimeter of the building.
With different configuration options, quick to install timelines and simplicity in IT maintenance, it has put enterprise-class mobile signal boosting within reach of many businesses at a price that is aligned with their budget.How QUATRA 4000e WorksIn a typical off-air installation, dedicated donor antennas capture usable mobile network signals outside the building and feed them into the QUATRA 4000e Network Unit. The Network Unit processes the operator signals and distributes them digitally over category cabling to Coverage Units positioned throughout the building.
The Coverage Units then distribute improved cellular coverage into the required indoor areas. Because RF and power are carried digitally between the Network Unit and Coverage Units, the system can distribute coverage across large or complex buildings without the RF losses associated with long passive coaxial distribution runs.
Where greater distances or additional coverage areas are required, QUATRA fiber-expansion components can extend the architecture. QUATRA 4000e can also support alternative signal-source designs, including small-cell/SuperCell configurations, where these are appropriate to the project.

What is Included?CEL-FI QUATRA 4000e is a scalable solution that utilises one or multiple Network Units, depending on the environment and size of the space, with up to six distributed Coverage Units connected to each Network Unit.Network UnitThe Network Unit (NU) is the hub of the system. Professional Design, Installation & CommissioningQUATRA 4000e is a professionally designed and commissioned commercial system. Frequency Signal Solutions will assess the donor signal, mobile networks required, building layout, antenna positions, cable routes and target coverage areas before finalising the design.
Following installation, the system is commissioned and tested against the agreed coverage requirements. Remote monitoring can then be configured where required.
